NATIONAL CONFERENCE NOV 22ND-NOV 23RD 2002

Mercy, the business of our lives: the refugee issue

The conference brought together a range of speakers with good international and local experience. As well, the workshops drew on the experience of networks of Mercy Refugee Service, Jesuit Refugee Service and National Council of Churches and others. It is our hope that this Conference will assist us in exploring further our understanding of 'mercy' as we learn more about the current issues that impact on the lives of refugees and asylum seekers internationally and within the Australian context.
