INFORMATION PACKAGE

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Mercy Refugee Service (MRS). Please take some time to review the information provided in the documents referenced below. As you will see from the information kit, we ask that all of our volunteers attend a two-day, two-night training session and agree to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week for at least twelve months as a volunteer Settlement Assistance Officer. If you believe you can offer this commitment and want to work with many other people from within the community to make resettlement easier for refugees and humanitarian entrants, we would encourage you to complete an application form and return it to MRS.

Our next training session will be held shortly, so return forms to us as soon as possible to be considered for a place. We will be contacting people who have submitted application forms closer to the time to arrange interviews.
