Clare Bennett

Program Manager - Indigenous and Refugees/ Asylum Seekers projects

Clare joined Mercy Works in July 2020 after many years working in Adult Education and Training, CALD education and mentoring, and, most recently, mentoring unemployed youth.

As Mercy Connect Ballarat-Bendigo Project Coordinator, Clare recruits and assists volunteer mentors who guide refugee students in Ballarat, Bendigo and district schools in the Catholic and State systems. In 2021 Clare has also become our Program Manager for our Indigenous Projects. In her spare time Clare is the Chair of Life Education Ballarat & District and adores Harold the Giraffe. She is also a Rotarian and enjoys organising the Ballarat Swap Meet.
