Andrew Burke

Board Member

Andrew Burke GAICD is a passionate public servant that has an accomplished career in developing and implementing policies and programs that deliver better outcomes for the community.

Andrew has worked across the three spheres of government and has contributed to a broad range of public policy areas. Amongst his experience, he has been at the forefront of Australia’s response to COVID-19, supported the development of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensured the delivery of essential state level services to Norfolk Island and managed the Queensland Government’s Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Papua New Guinea.   Andrew has a strong corporate governance mindset and has a proven ability to establish strong internal and external networks. He achieves results through applying his strategic foresight to efficiently resolve complex issues and developing evidence based strategic initiatives.   Andrew serves as an ex-officio member on the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility Board, holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economic) and Masters of Politics and Public Policy and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
